Acuneedling uses fine, sterile needles at specific points to support you through pregnancy and the early weeks. It sits alongside your midwifery care, and every session starts with an assessment of how you’re feeling and what you’d like support with.
No GP referral needed, and Medicare rebates apply.

A note on my training
I’m a midwife, not a registered acupuncturist. I’ve completed an Acuneedling for Midwives course, taught by an experienced women’s health acupuncturist. I offer acuneedling only within my midwifery scope, for symptoms related to pregnancy, labour, birth and the early postpartum weeks. For anything outside of that, I’ll refer you to a registered acupuncturist.

Fees are paid at each appointment, and I process your Medicare rebate for you on the spot.

A midwifery approach to needling, for support through pregnancy and the early weeks. We start with a brief check of you and your baby, then a full assessment of how you’re feeling and what you’d like support with, whether that’s nausea, back or pelvic pain, sleep, stress, or preparing your body for birth in late pregnancy.
ACUNEEDLING follow-up visit
30 MIN · $80 · ~$47 AFTER MEDICARE
Ongoing treatment, building on your initial session. We start with a brief check of you and your baby, then check in on how you’ve been, adjust your treatment as needed, and continue working towards your goals. For women who’ve had an initial acuneedling session with me.
